This History of the Internet

Found this video on 10membranes.

History of the Internet from PICOL on Vimeo.

Besides the worth of the video itself, it seems that it was made using PICOL. From the PICOL website:

"PICOL stands for Pictorial Communication Language
and is a project to find a standard and reduced sign
system for electronic communication. PICOL is free
to use and open to alter."

Well, okay!

There's not much to it right now, but they were able to make an entertaining and descriptive video using only 22 basic symbols. Considering my last post, that seems like something to watch. New internet magic fingers, miming a story of how the internet got made.

Good enough.
